Minnesota paintball goes from wooded fields in the south to an inflatable airball park out in Wright County. Here are the open venues we confirmed.
TOMMYGUN’S PAINT WARS
Tommygun’s Paint Wars sits between Mankato and New Ulm and offers both paintball and gel blasters. There are six fields: an inflatable speedball field, a close quarters field, three wooded fields and a meadow field.
Open play is Sundays from noon to 4pm, May through September, and they are open all week by reservation. A waiver is required, and they host parties, bachelor parties, company events and student events. Call (507) 947-3711.
ANNANDALE PAINTBALL
Annandale Paintball at 13659 100th St NW in South Haven offers traditional paintball, low impact paintball, laser tag and airsoft, all in a family-friendly setup. Their airball facility uses inflatable bunkers arranged to the Major League Paintball format, and they describe it as the only outdoor turf field in Minnesota.
Open play is Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 6pm, with the last game at 5:30pm and no new arrivals after 4pm. Weekdays are for private groups. Ages are 8 and up for the family and laser tag options and 10 and up for traditional and low impact. They offer season passes, rentals (reservation recommended) and a digital waiver.
