Best Paintball inOhio

2025 nominees for the best paintball venue in Ohio in the annual Paintball Award.

Ohio has a strong mix of woodsball parks. Here are three open venues, from Mount Gilead in the middle of the state to the Cincinnati area.

SPLATTERPARK PAINTBALL & AIRSOFT

SplatterPark is at 5560 County Road 109 in Mount Gilead. It has 13 themed battle zones with cargo crates, a castle, an aircraft, hills, valleys and creeks. Games include Capture the Flag, Elimination, Domination and King of the Hill, and the park was featured in the video game Greg Hastings Tournament Paintball.

Players must be 10 or older. Open play is on weekends with no reservation needed, and private groups of 10 or more can book year-round. Rentals, a safety briefing, paint and air at The Outpost, and the Punishers Paintball pro shop are on site. Only field paint is allowed. Call (419) 946-4964.

CABIN CREEK PAINTBALL

Cabin Creek is at 4117 Eaton Road in Hamilton, on 35 acres of rolling wooded terrain with 8 paintball fields. It is family-owned and set up for birthday parties, bachelor parties, church outings and corporate groups.

Open days are Saturday from 11am to 4pm and Sunday from 12pm to 4pm. Private parties must reserve in advance. Rental gear is available, waivers and rules can be downloaded from the site, and there is a disc golf course on the property. Call (513) 726-4059.

PAINTBALL COUNTRY OHIO

Paintball Country is at 5110 Lesourdsville West Chester Road in Liberty Township, between Cincinnati and Dayton. It has multiple professionally designed fields and is open Saturdays from 11am to 5pm and Sundays from 1pm to 5pm.

Walk-ons are welcome and you can also book online. Rentals cover markers, masks, paintballs and HPA tanks, and there is a pro shop, a snack bar and a season pass. Referees explain the rules and gear before play. No outside alcohol is allowed. Call (513) 779-3228.
