From the South Shore to the Pioneer Valley, Massachusetts has a few serious paintball fields. Here is what each venue lists on its website.

HIGH VOLTAGE PAINTBALL

High Voltage Paintball in Holbrook describes itself as a recreational paintball center for family outings, birthday parties, bachelor parties and corporate events. The park has three distinct playing areas: The Power Lines, Mission Hill and Conquer Rock.

P & L Paintball at 1221 Bedford St in Bridgewater has been run by players for players since 1991. The fields include a two-story western Ghost Town and wooded areas, and they offer both paintball (ages 8 and up) and airsoft (ages 10 and up).

They are open Wednesday through Sunday, 9am to 4pm, closed Monday and Tuesday. The latest recommended arrival is 1pm, and registration closes at 2:30pm. You can book online 24/7, complete your waiver before you arrive, and pick up VIP membership or gift cards. Xtreme Paintball is an outdoor field at 365 Main St in Agawam, with both speedball and woodsball. The minimum age is 6, and they offer equipment rental, group and party packages, a pro shop and an online waiver.
