Best Paintball inWisconsin

2025 nominees for the best paintball venue in Wisconsin in the annual Paintball Award.

Wisconsin paintball runs from the Twin Cities border to the Dells. We picked three venues with current sites.

SPLAT TAG GIANT PAINTBALL PARK

Splat Tag is at 835 County Road E in Hudson, with 22 uniquely designed play areas in the woods. It runs from March to November, and moves to a winter location at 2261 130th Avenue in Baldwin from December to February.

Walk-on games need no reservation, while private groups of 10 or more should book. Rental gear and 500 balls are packaged together. There is a season pass, and the park hosts big themed events including the 200-plus player Giant Game. Call 651-488-7700.

STALKER GAMES

Stalker Games is about seven miles northwest of Wisconsin Dells, near Lyndon Station. It has more than 40 acres of wooded and speedball-style fields and has been operating since 1987.

Offerings include paintball, low-impact paintball, airsoft, outdoor laser tag and gel blasters. Fields are by reservation only, with at least 24 hours’ notice and a deposit. Waivers are online. Call (608) 666-2400.

BONEYARD PAINTBALL

Boneyard Paintball is at N7333 Highview Road in Plymouth. It was established in 2003, opened to the public in 2009 and is an official Valken field partner.

The site welcomes all skill levels and accepts credit cards. If you bring your own tank it needs a current hydro certification, since they only fill current hydro tanks. Check the venue’s site for current hours and booking.
