The Smokies area is Tennessee’s paintball hub. These are two venues we could confirm open with current details.
SMOKY MOUNTAIN PAINTBALL
Smoky Mountain is at 12240 Chapman Highway in Seymour. It has four playing areas, including large wooded courses and a hybrid speedball field, and offers standard and low-impact paintball.
Open play is on Saturdays from 12pm to 5pm and players must be 10 or older. Low impact is not offered during open play. Private groups can book any day with a minimum of 6 players, 24 hours ahead and a per-player deposit. Rentals cover the gun, mask, coveralls and protective gear, and only field paint is allowed. TENNESSEE MOUNTAIN PAINTBALL
Tennessee Mountain is at 729 Happy Hollow Lane in Sevierville, on 20 acres of themed courses including Vietnam Village and a Western City field with turf, log cabins, two-story towers, tunnels, bridges and a 60-foot multilevel base.
It is a family-friendly, low-impact park open daily from 9am to 9pm, with reservations required. Low impact is for ages 10 and up (8 and 9 at a parent’s discretion), kids’ soft paintball is for 7 to 9, and laser tag and hydroball are for ages 5 and up. The pro shop rents disposable jumpsuits and markers. Call 865-446-2003.
